Texting and Cheating

Hello, Jill here again.  I wanted to talk about something that we’ve broached here a few times on MEM, which is the topic of cheating spouses, cheating partners, and just cheating on someone you love or are in a committed relationship with in general.  I of course am against the idea of cheating, but I can see how it happens all the time, especially if one person is not as committed to monogamy as the other partner is.

But hey, I’ve also seen two people who are both very likely to cheat on one another.  This type of scenario happens all the time, as these types are attracted to eachother quite often since they are often very outgoing and often enjoy attention from the opposite of sex a little too much.

There are even people in knowingly “open” relationships, which is a totally foreign concept to me, but then again I’m personally old fashioned when it comes to relationships, and I believe in the romantic notion of two people being sexually committed to on another for the rest of their lives – as long as they make sure they keep things interesting.

What continuously boggles my mind is how these men and women in the public spotlight are using texting, the modern marvel of the 21st century, to text their mistresses.  Do they not know that this is totally traceable unless they have a totally secret phone?  The  most recent story was of Tony Parker possibly getting hundreds of texts from his mistress, who may have even been married to a former team mate of his (this has not all been 100% confirmed yet), and cheating on his gorgeous wife Eva Longoria.

I honestly don’t know what she saw in that guy anyways, if you ask me he looks weird.
