So, What ARE Pheromones?

There has been a lot of research performed on pheromones and their role both in the animal kingdom and the human area of study. Why?  Well because one, this area of research is fascinating. It’s fascinating because it’s amazing that all creatures use some form of unwritten, unspoken instinctual communication.

It’s especially amazing that we humans use pheromones to communicate in certain ways because we consider ourselves such self aware and “high on the food chain” beings that are above communicating in such a primitive way.

But make no mistake, pheromones also play a role in our world, and they play a role in how we are sexually attracted to others, as well as how we determined the opposite of sex’s interest in us.

There has been a lot devoted to this in the cologne and perfume market for both men and women as well, since pheromones play a major role in human to human attraction.  There are pheromones for men to attract women, and vice versa, since there have been studies that show that spraying pheromones on actually helped both men and women attract much more attention from the opposite of sex.

There is still much to be learned about these evasive hydrocarbons which we all emit in varying quantities from our body, but one thing is sure, they are powerful little buggers for being invisible to the naked eye!
