Sexual lubricants are one of the kinkier, more fun ways to help spice things up a little in your sex life.  Not only that, sometimes they are a downright necessity.  Ever had sex with your girlfriend or partner and things might be a little dry or you both may not be totally ready to perform sexual intercourse, and you end up a with a penis that is rubbed raw by friction and irritation?  That whole scenario can be avoided by using a good sexual lubricant like KY jelly or lotion or any number of the other great, non warming lubricants on the market today.

Why do I say non warming?  Well, because if you’re looking for a lubricant that is more of a protectant against the excess friction on your penis aspect of having sexual intercourse, then you want a straight, plain lubricant that doesn’t have any warming of tingling ingredients in it, because these can actually further irritate and dry out the vagina and also the penis, and make it an uncomfortable experience for both partners. 

I mean come on, we’re not living in a perfect world, and you aren’t both going to be totally primed, wet and ready for sex every time, so sometimes a lubricant is totally in order.  KY is a well known one that lot’s of people like, and there are numerous other ones that can be found at your local corner drugstore and larger retail outlets as well. 

Some other brands I like are Astroglide, which although it admittedly has a totally dubious, porn-like name, is a great lubricant.  Don’t use too much though, when they say astro glide, they mean it, you may be a little TOO slippery to get any friction and pleasure going on your penis so that you can properly ejaculate if you use too much of this fun stuff. 

Most sexual lubricants are silicone based, which gives them that slipper feeling that makes sexual penetration much easier, but it’s also the reason that they dry out so quickly.  I personally favor Astroglide a bit more because it doesn’t dry out and need to be reapplied as often as KY tends to.  If you want to also have a little more fun try some penis enlargement exercises, they can not only increase the overall girth and length of the penis and give you bigger, fuller erections, but they make lubes a lot more fun and you should get more sensation as well.
