“Protein Shot” Drink a Farce?
Hey guys, Jill here, as usual, breaking up the male-centric talk and bringing a woman’s perspective to the table.
So Wal-mart sells these things called protein shots, which do in fact have a lot of protein in them. The funny thing is, these “protein shots” look like a dildo. The liquid in them is also colored red, making the hilarity even more obvious as to what they are getting at. And yet, it really is sold in the diet and health aisle at Wal-mart!
Not only do these protein shots make a great addition to the diet if you are watching your carbs and increasing your protein intake in order to build more muscle and lose fat, but they also double as a bachelorette party gag gift!
They look like penises, that’s for sure, and I’m not really sure if they were designed that way, but certainly it’s at the very least a marketing ploy to get women to buy them. They are about 4-5 inches tall, and they have a rounded shape at the end.
They are cylindrical and shape, just like that of a real penis. I believe they clock in at about $2.00 for each shot – a nice, cheap gift for the bride to be or a great gift for your female friends with a great sense of humor.
