Monogomy Too Unrealistic?

In this day and age of sex being sold to you everywhere through all different mediums, beckoning and calling you at any given moment of the day, it’s hard to keep from having a wandering eye if you are in a monogomous relationship, whether you are a woman or a man.  Recent news even suggests that this gets even harder when you have any sort of wealth or power attached to that, or any type of celebrity, since these types of people typically thrive off of excitement and newness in the first place, and they have many more opportunities to stray on monogomous partners than the average Joe Schmoe does too.

So is infidelity and hopeless fleeting eyes something that only belongs to the rich and famous, or is it something that us every day folk have to deal with as well?  Well, put quite simply, everyone has to deal with it. I don’t care if you’re married to a supermodel, you’re going to eventually get used to looking at them, and the way they like to be touched and the way they touch you, and it’s human nature to wonder about what other people must be like as lovers and what they feel like and look like without their clothes. Many women will admit this as well, it’s not just a guy thing.

We all get restless every once in a while, and that’s why solid monogomous relationships are built on open and honest commnciation between the two of you.  It’s also built on a genuine desire to keep the relationship sacred, and by to keep things exciting by changing things up every once in a while, especially the longer the two of you have been together.

Monogomy benefits us as humans in a lot of ways. First off, it benefits us on a physiological level because we aren’t sleeping around, boudn to get any one of the major STD’s that’s always floating around out there, so it’s better for our health. Number two, unless you’re in a rocky marriage, it keeps you from the daily drama and uncertainty that new sexual relationships always tend to bring, so it’s sort of a protective mechanism emotionally as well.  Monogomy is also better for us financially in general. Studies have been done that show that people who remain married for their lives are significantly better off than those who divorce.

For men, many studies have shown that men who are in married relationships are generally much happier and more content, and they are also less likely to die a premature death than single men. They also tend to live a little longer in general, so those are all things to think about as well.
