Improve Libido and Impotence

Although a decreased libido is an affliction that most commonly effects women, men are making more and more complaints about this condition, perhaps to a changing society where spare time is becoming more and more scarce, and both women and men are just quite frankly strapped for time and sapped of extra energy to create any fantastic sparks in the bedroom.

With men, often a low libido and impotence go hand in hand, but there are ways to improve both your libido and the problem of impotence all in one, naturally. Men often turn to Viagra and the likes of this common and (in my opinion)over-prescribed impotence and libido improving drug, and actually may be even putting their health and well being in jeopardy all in the name of saving a relationship or their self esteem, both of which can be severely damaged by lack of libido and impotence.

Let’s face it, we are all sexual creatures, and we all crave intimacy, and we should crave it fairly often - the problem is, many of us don’t - this is what has been the breaking point of many relationships since everyone wants to feel desired, loved and sexual all at the same time - and these feelings all go HAND IN HAND.

The supplements for male enhancement recommended in the links above in this weblog forum are all excellent for targeting both your sexdrive, your longevity in bed, and any problems with getting or maintaining an erection all at once.

It is actually a libido enhancer that also greatly improves impotence by helping you get AND maintain an erection, as well as improving libido. Most men who take this natural supplement report a substantial improvement in their libido as well as less occurrences of impotence - and many times NO occurrences of impotence.

And, over time, the results just keep getting better and better and the natural ingredients sustain themselves in the body due to repeat treatment, and take control of your sexual function, making for an overall great improvement to your libido and impotence issues.

Premature Ejaculation - It’s Not All Phsychological After All

There was recently a 4 week study of just over 1,500 men who suffered premature ejaculation on a consisten basis. The researchers reported that men who suffer from premature ejaculation had an average pre-ejaculate timing of 1.8 minutes, compared to 7.3 minutes in men who did not suffer premature ejaculation.

Translation: The men suffering premature ejaculation sexually climaxed and ejaculated in approximately 1.8 minutes.

Men with premature ejaculation syndrome and their female partners also had higher instances of personal distress, interpersonal and relationship difficulties with their partner, lack of ejaculation control, and dissatisfaction with the whole sexual experience on a more frequent, if not all consuming basis. What does this usually tranlate to in relationships? Splitting up, divorce, or severe relationship issues which are difficult to mend.

This study is also one of the first studies to address the ultimate concerns of the male’s female partners. Both members of the couples studied were asked to report on a variety of subjective and outside factors.

“Most people think uni-dimensionally about PE in terms of considering it a disorder of time,” states Stanley E. Althof, Ph.D., corresponding author of the study. “This article demonstrates that subjective factors like sense of control, distress, and sexual satisfaction need to be considered when treating this highly prevalent disorder.”

Premature ejaculation is the most common male sexual dysfunction disorder affecting men and their female partners. However, available data suggest that only 1-12% of males receive medical or other treatment for their dysfunction, since they usually are too afraid to ask for help, or genuinely do not know there are treatment options available - both medical and herbal.

According to The Journal of Sexual Medicine editor Irwin Goldstein, most physicians do not inquire about the existence of premature ejaculation when the patient has other sexual complaints or when the partner has orgasmic dysfunction. As seen in this study, premature ejaculation adversely affects sexual satisfaction, and partner distress is a common motivation for afflicted men to seek treatment.

Side Effects of Viagra (Sildenafil)

Thought I’d do a little investigating on the side effects of the Viagra male sexual enhancement drug, which is probably the most widely known drug of its kind still today, followed by Cialis. Viagra’s generic name is Sildenafil, and the brand name also goes by Revatio.

First of all, the primary prescribed action of Viagra (Sildenafil) is to relax the muscles and increase blood flow to particular areas of the body, namely the penis and its chambers which fill up with blood during sexual arousal (or at least they are supposed to). Viagra’s primary use is to treat men with erectile dysfunction, but it is also used secondarily to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Probably the most concerning of Viagra’s side effects is the reports of possible heart implications, and the reports of deaths from men who used the drug who were not the ideal candidates due to their age of their physical fitness level. In other words, if you have any family history of heart disease, heart attacks, or other heart conditions, you should probably avoid Viagra like the plague.

The other concerning reported side effect is problems with vision. A small number of patients became partially of completely blind from the use of Viagra. While the number is relatively small, this is still a huge concern, and a huge reason not to take this drug in my opinion.

Doctors have been advised to not prescribe this medication if the patient has any history of the following diseases or ailments:

Heart disease or family history of heart disease

Over 50 years old

Have diabetes

Have high blood pressure or a history of high blood pressure

High cholesterol

Patients who smoke

Patients who have eye disease or vision problems

Premature Ejaculation Treatments

Did you know that premature ejaculation is the most common sexual disorder in men ages 40 and younger? This can be viewed as somewhat of an irony or an unfortunate series of events, since men in this particular age group are typically in their sexual prime,at their most virile and powerful, have the highest potential for strong sexual climaxes, and have the highest sexual appetite of their lives.

This occurrence in this age bracket explains why so many younger men are searching for a natural treatment for premature ejaculation, or are visiting their doctors in search of medical help in the form of the likes of prescription drugs like Viagra to get them over this time in their lives, or to treat an ongoing or persistently recurring problem.

What Exactly is Premature Ejaculation?

Are there really any natural treatments that help to prolong an erection, and stave off the inevitable sexual climax for longer?

Premature ejaculation is defined as recurring incident of male sexual climax occurring prior to the wishes of both sex partners, or more scientifically, it is defined as the man coming, or climaxing in 2 minutes or less, or in 20 thrusts or less.

Cumming too fast?

Do you reach orgasm faster than you can say, “Fuck”? Many men dread this situation, and with good reason. Cumming too early or too fast robs you and your partner of the pleasure that sexual intercourse can give. This is believed to be the most common sexual complaint of couples. About 29 percent of men are reportedly bothered by these episodes.

There is a product that helps really reduce premature ejaculation, aka cumming too fast - ProSolution

There are many reasons why a man “cums” too fast. Biologically, men experience climax much earlier than women. They do so 2-3 minutes after penetration, in contrast to women who take their time (about 12-14 minutes). Likewise, there are also psychological factors that bring about early ejaculation. These include guilt, anxiety (lack of experience), or fear of sexually transmitted infections, potential pregnancy, etc. Older men are also known to be able to control their ejaculation as compared with their younger counterparts. They credit it to their experience.

So, how can you control yourself from ejaculating too quickly? One way is to exercise your PC (pubococcygeus) muscle, which is the primary “sexual muscle” that forms part of the pelvis. The PC muscle is largely involved with sexual functions such as ejaculation and orgasm. With regular exercise, this muscle can provide firmer and larger erections, powerful ejaculations and more intense climaxes.

So where is this muscle located? Try stopping the flow of your urine midway. The PC muscle, located between the anus and scrotum, is the one you contracts when you try to stop the flow of your urine.

How to go about exercising your PC muscles? Try clenching and releasing your PC muscle in ten-second periods. Perform three sets of this. Take a breather. Now, try the clench-and-release technique for five seconds. Perform ten sets of this. This time, try tightening the muscle for 30 seconds and relaxing for 30 seconds. Perform three sets of this.

This exercise is rather simple and easy to perform. You can do it by yourself — just about anytime and anywhere. You don’t need any device or contraption to exercise your PC muscle. But, like all exercise regimens, you need to commit to a routine devotedly. Famous porn stars, with explosive cumshots, are even rumored to perform these exercises faithfully.

So next time you and your partner are making love, try to go inside her and pause for awhile. Don’t move for several seconds; then try tightening and relaxing your PC muscle.

You also have to keep in mind that different women also prefer different types of sex. Some prefer the long and sensual approach; while others favor the pound-pound-pound approach. It’s always better to know your partner’s preference so that you can both enjoy an intimate sexual fun.

Do These Natural Erection Enhancement Products Increase Testosterone?

Another function of natural male erection enhancers that I forgot to mention on that last post was the ability to enhance and build testosterone levels in the body. There are risks associated with intense testosterone level enhancement though, implications including inhibited kidney function, water retention, acne, balding and other side effects that don’t appear to be too desirable. So just be careful in what you choose.

Supplements that primarily advertise as a testosterone enhancer may be regarded with a degree of caution. Instead, you may want to opt more for something that actually stimulates the sexual appetite by producing chemical reactions in the body which specifically localize in the penile area, not something that is going to influence the production of testosterone solely.

That’s just my opinion though….

Natural Erection Enhancers - What Are They Supposed to Do?

Natural erection enhancers fall into a few categories in the market of natural and herbal male enhancement formulas:

1.) Formulas specifically geared toward longevity in bed and premature ejaculation prevention

2.) Formulas geared toward simply enhancing your erection for more a more pleasurable orgasm. This usually involves making your erection harder and longer lasting in the process, since often slightly longer lovemaking sessions result in much more powerful climaxes.

3.) Enhancing the length of your erection during sexual excitement, and throughout the entire process of sexual intercourse. By default, this usually also enhances your climactic experience, as well as enhances your length, width and girth by filling the penile chambers responsible for the male erection with more blood, which automatically creates more sensation.

What drugs fall into the category of natural erection enhancement?

Specifically, there is not one male sexual dysfunction drug that outright claims to actually enhance the size of your erection, but they often do increase the size of the erection, and enhance the sexual experience due to forced, increased blood flow to the penis, resulting in longer lasting erections and more satisfying experiences in the bedroom.

Herbal formulas often have the same effect in this way.

Safe Alternatives to Viagra - More

Given ginkgo’s proven ability to dilate blood vessels and improve blood flow to the sexual organ is not surprising to note that many aphrodisiac formulas contain ginkgo extract.

Visit male enhancement product reviews for more info on these products.

Chinese herbalists referred to ginkgo as an aphrodisiac. Karch reports that ginkgo enhances nitric oxide (NO)production. Nitric oxide is the primary messenger molecule that is affectedby Viagra, and is the key factor in helping achieve stimulation byinforming certain blood vessels to relax.

Chinese Red Ginseng

In Asia, ginseng has a long history of use in herbal formulas for thetreatment of sexual dysfunction. Recent studies in laboratory animals haveshown that ginseng enhances libido and sexual performance. These effects of ginseng may not be due to changes in hormone secretion, but to direct effects of ginseng, or its ginsenoside components, on the central nervous system and gonadal tissues.

Moreover, Ginseng has also been found to affect the central nervous system, significantly altering the activity of hypothalamic catecholamines involved in sexual behavior and hormone secretion. Recent findings that ginsengtreatment decreased prolactin secretion also suggest a direct nitricoxide-mediated effect of ginseng on the pituitary.

Additional studies lend growing support for the use of ginseng in the treatment of sexual dysfunction and provide increasing evidence for a role of nitric oxide inthe mechanism of ginsenoside action.

Penile Injections and Inserts for Impotence? Ouch!

Wow - I can’t believe this. I just read about how men who may not respond to traditional impotence medications may benefit from a fairly new drug called Alprostadil which can both be injected directly into the penis and produce an erection which can last up to ten minutes or also comes in a supository-type of insert which is a small cylinder which is inserted into the tip of your member (ouch again!).

So, I wonder, does this mean you’d have to self administer the shot or what? I’m just thinking that practically, you can’t very well go visit the doc every time you’re “thinking” of a romantic interlude? Call me crazy
