As years go by in men’s life, they face certain mother-nature changes in their body. Presumably after the forth decade of life, men seem to need the aid of a specific drug in order to perform in bed. Viagra is the most popular name when it comes to using erectile drugs.

Is it healthy? Yes it is, but only when it is used carefully and in the right amount. Many think that increasing the prescribed dosage will increase the pleasure and the durability, but the contrary appears almost every time. Men, not paying attention to the drug’s ‘manual’, often spend the night in the Emergency Room trying to reduce the blood flow in the male organ due to Viagra overdose.

There is a possibility for men using erectile dysfunction drugs to be seriously exposed on sexual transmitted diseases, like Syphilis, Chlamydia, HIV and even AIDS. A research done by Dr. Anupam Jena from Harvard Medical School in Boston showed that high number of ED (erectile dysfunction) users were target to STDs (sexual transmitted deceases).

There is more concern about the fact that they target to STDs 12 month prior to their first prescription of ED drugs. Dr. Anupam Jena looked into 33,968 men’s health insurance records that had at least one ED drug prescription and 1 million with no ED drug prescription at all.

Last year, the rate of HIV per 100,000 men was 66.5 men who didn’t use ED drugs and 147.2 men who did. Chlamydia rates are almost triples the number of men using ED drugs – 41 per 100,000 using ED drugs to 15 per 100,000 not using ED drugs.

These entire numbers make a good statement that not only teenagers should get a proper sexual education. There are men well in their forties that have to be good informed about STD’s. Since the goal of Viagra or other ED drugs is to have sexual intercourse, the concern about sexual performance should go beyond longer erection. Users seem to forget the health hazards they are exposed to.

It is quite natural for men to use this type of non-natural male sexual enhancement medication. Nature takes its course in every man’s life. But there are human pleasures that are irresistible and you of course have to resist the urge to “spread your seed” as men were supposedly genetically programmed to do. Don’t ‘argue’ with Mother Nature forcing her to work overtime. She won’t mind if you use ED drugs if you follow the manual.

I don’t know why, but this news really doesn’t come as a shock to me. Of course, when I look around in my life at the people who do drink, but only moderately and wisely, at social functions, I think that they do tend to be people who are a bit more popular in the room, have a better social standing, and seem to generally be healthy and happy, well rounded people, as opposed to the ones who simply do not drink at all, and never have.

Of course, I totally understand if someone is a recovering alcoholic, this makes sense, but I’m saying in general, those who seem to enjoy the occasional drink do seem to have a leg up somehow in life. That’s just been my personal experience and observation, of course your reality may be totally different.

Well, research is suggesting that moderate drinkers, not people who get smashed and bombed on a regular basis, or alcoholics, mind you, but people who enjoy the occasional choice of alcoholic beverage, especially in social situations, tend to not only enjoy better health, but they also tend to enjoy better social standing and status.

There is no evidence of course that alcohol itself has anything to do with the better health, especially since alcohol intake has actually been linked to several health issues, but somehow, people who tend naturally toward moderate alcohol intake tend to have better lives, in general. Interesting, isn’t it? When compared to those that do no drink at all, or drink too much, the difference is especially visible.

I know I myself am a moderate drinker. I go through phases where I won’ t have anything at all for a while, then I’ll go through phases where we seem to be going out or socializing every weekend, and we’ll end up drinking more than usual. I suppose I put myself into the generally good health category too, so this is a very interesting correlation they’ve found…

New research is showing that men are at risk for developing postpartum depression after their partner has a child, just like the mother does. The only difference is that it is not internally, hormonally driven, but rather it is environmentally caused by the stress and adjustment of having a child. Having a baby, as you may or may not know, entails many changes to your life and your routine.

Not only that, it can add stress to a relationship since you are just figuring out how to balance the daily duties of parenthood, and both parents have to take responsibility for the baby’s needs. Things like sex fall by the wayside, and couples really need to focus on staying connected this way, no matter how exhausted they might be, because sex is a natural stress reliever and helps to build bonds that are broken down by the stressors of every day life.

Sad to say, but babies, while they are a blessing and add so much to your life, they also add stress to a relationship, and they also take focus and attention off of the relationship itself. You stop diverting so much energy into the relationship and making sure eachother’s needs are taken care of, and you begin to redirect all of that focus to the baby. This can spell disaster, especially for relationships that have fatal flaws to begin with.

It is one of the reasons that my husband and I have decided we are probably not going to have children. We love kids, we enjoy them, and we certainly think they’re adorable and entertaining, but we just know our own limitations, and we both have full time jobs and also side businesses, which take up the majority of our time.

Fathers have postpartum depression about 10-20% of the time, just like mothers do. The research that was done found that the majority of both partners having postpartum depression occurs around month 3-6 of the baby’s life. They said that the most common occurrence of both partners having postpartum depression is here in the US, and they speculate that it is because this is the standard time period that most parents are going back to work after baby arrives, since the maternity leave is 3 months at most US companies.

The added stress of going back to work AND caring for Jr. really take a toll on the psyche, and for some people it results in depression. This depression can be characterized by lack of energy, feelings of hopelessness, and for men mostly they get more snappy and irritable.

This story is really, really sad. But it’s also uplifting, because so many men have donated their Viagra pills to this pup to keep her alive for a long time. This dog, a pit bull named Ingrid, was discovered by animal rescue folks tied to a short leash on a fence. She had terrible heart worm, and water on her abdomen when they found here. She was basically not cared for at all, being used as a bate dog in illegal dog fighting. And this sweet puppy girl still has a great disposition to boot. Show me a person who would defy those odds, and they would be sainted!

Ingrid was examined when she was rescued, and it was found that she had a severe heart problem she would surely die from if it went untreated, where her valves were totally blocked. The vet put her on a steady dose of Viagra, which you of course know is the male enhancement and impotence blockbuster drug here in the US. Why would Viagra help with this sweet dog’s heart problem?

Viagra is designed to increase blood flow, and it helps the dog to keep blood flowing to, through, and out of her heart valves so they remain clog free and smooth running for years to come. This dog actually has to take an incredible amount of Viagra to even survive, and most likely would die without her dosages. She requires 2 Viagra pills, twice a day, to keep her little ticker going. If you want to find out more about how to help this dog maintain her supply of Viagra, or you’re interested in adopting the sweet pooch, then call 631-368-8770.

Hmm, I am not even a huge fan of Donald Trump, but what he said in a recent impromptu interview made sense, and I did feel he was holding true to his reputation as a guy who just speaks the truth, not matter how brash or cruel it may come off. He said it in a way that any business man would say something that was difficult for anyone else to get out of their mouth too. When questioned by an entertainment reporter – of course, in between promoting his new Apprentice season and Celebrity Apprentice (always the promoter, that Donald), about Jesse James’ reported infidelity in his marriage with Sandra Bullock, he answered appropriately.

The reporter asked if “sex addiction” was becoming the new excuse for infidelity in Hollywood marriages and relationships, and shoot, for that matter, any where else where a guy can’t seem to keep his wanker in his pants.

He kind of grimaced a bit and said what all of us sane people are thinking and that is the following. He said he thought that sex addiction was pushing it, maybe it’s really just that these guys like sex a bit too much. He added though, and this is what I love about the Donald especially knowing he was embroiled in his own cheating scandal way back when with Marla Maples.

He opined that maybe they just really liked sex and were called out on it. He also said, but hey look, what’s wrong with loving sex? I happen to agree with that. Everyone loves sex in some form or another.

And the way you carry out that love, if your partner knows, is you experiment with your partner. It’s when communication and lines are crossed and one partner does something the other construes as betrayal is when it’s wrong. If you want to be in an “open” relationship, you need to tell your significant other that from the get go. Otherwise, your relationship is based on lies.

Wow, the iPhone has been such an amazing invention. It’s so great that many people, including myself, have found that they can’t live without the darn thing. I remember the days when I had the more unfriendly Trio, where I had to manage my way through the internet and checking my email without the lovely touch screen. It truly wasn’t that user friendly. And therefore I never used it for half of what it was good for.

When the iPhone came along, my then boyfriend, now husband, pretty much made me get one so that we could get on a plan together and pay less. And I gotta say, I was an instant convert to the iPhone’s ways. I thought, wow, you can really do a lot with these phones! Here I was with a less user friendly phone, just getting by for all those years, and I could have had one that virtually lived, eat, breathed and slept for you.

Well, the newest app is a calorie counting app, and it counts the amount of calories you burned when you had sex. How does it know how long you had your sex for? Well also you have to consider that many people may do it for a minute or two, while others may enjoy long romantic, and very active interludes with their partners, and burn a lot more calories.

Well, this app works like this. It’s called the Bedometer. And you put it on the bed with you when you’re getting frisky with your partner. The motion sensors in the iPhone are supposed to measure how many calories you burned by having sex by measuring the amount and level of movement felt by the phone while you both are on the bed doing your thing.

Kinda raunchy, but also kinda fascinating, I must admit!

The actor/politician Fred Thompson made what can definitely be construed as some pretty controversial statements (I think I even read that he tweeted about it, who knew he was so hip, I don’t even tweet), about how the economy being in the toilet is going to increase domestic abuse cases. His reasoning is that jobless men often become abusive. My, that’s an awfully broad statement Fred!

Of course, I’ll acknowledge that the economy and the huge amount of jobless people and pay-reduced people is probably causing some definite marital and relationship strife, since many times couples argue about money, no shock there, but do you think it actually increases domestic abuse occurrences as well? I’m not sure, there could be some sort of correlation, but it also sounds like a bit of a stretch.

What I really want to know is, are there actual numbers and statistics that are supporting this type of statement? I’d be very interested to see it, because it’s just another reason why we need to get the economy fixed. Of course, they say that finances often split people apart, but there is the other argument (let me play devil’s advocate here), that people stay together for financial reasons as well.

Look at our society today. Most couples cannot live on one single income any more like it used to be. Most families has working moms and working dads, unless they just make due with one smaller salary, or one partner actually makes a ton of money at their job.

Also, divorce is very costly. You often have to split your assets, you lose your tax benefits of being married, and you essentially lose a room mate with whom to share your living expenses. Romantic, huh? But it’s the truth. Men and women alike suffer financially in a divorce situation. What I do want to know, is there anything to this domestic abuse rising claim due to the economy?

We’ve all heard that somewhat cliche term now “mid life crisis” or how about midlife crisis mobile? That’s the funny term someone coined for a middle aged man who goes out and buys some ridiculous fast sports car when he has only up until then driven reliable cars like Hondas and Toyotas. But new research is suggesting that there really is no such thing as a mid life crisis, at least not any more, and not for the modern man (and yes, occasionally women can go through these too, but theyr’e a predominantly male thing).

The new research shows that men and women are typically actually happier as they approach and pass the age of 50, which is officially mid life for the population, who is living longer today than back when this “disorder” was coined by a psychologist to describe the weird things that (typically) men do when they reach this age, like have affairs, go out and do things they’ve never done before, and live life on the wild side a little bit, acting younger than their actual biological age.

You see, research is showing that we as a people are actually evolving and learning to appreciate “mid life”, since we live longer, and the perception is shifting to not being half over, but to being more confident, more knowledegable about yourself, and more secure in your desires and dreams. People tend to do the things they really truly love with their lives when they reach this age because they are past a lot of the self judgment and self doubt that plagued them in their earlier years. Sounds good, now mid life doesn’t sound so bad at all! It’s not all having to pop Viagra for sexual performance, and drinking beer on the sofa, only to go to a dead end job the next day!

Hey guys, David here, with an update for those that like to drink alcoholic beverages occasionally, or if you happen to enjoy a drink several nights a week even. This is actually something I never knew, so I thought it would be interesting info to share with you. I had always heard sayings like liquor before beer never fear and beer before liquor never sicker but honestly I could never even remember which way it was supposed to go, and I’d inevitably put them in the wrong order, getting hung over as hell. But this new tip is a little easier to get along with.

There is new evidence that lighter colored liquors like vodka are actually easier on your body when it comes to whether or not you are destined to get a hangover. On the contrary, darker liquors like darkly colored rums and whiskeys are killer for hangovers. I guess that explains why vodka goes down so much easier for me and I’m much less likely to come down with a pounding headache and massive dehydration the next morning when I drink something like vodka as opposed to whiskey or dark rums.

I actually prefer lighter colored alcohols anyways, so that makes it easy for me. Vodka is my favorite, followed by Bombay Sapphire gin – nothing better than a gin and tonic or a vodka and and tonic, made with a squeeze of lime and a squeeze of lemon, respectively.

So, why is there this fairly noticeable discrepancy between light and dark alcohols and the likelihood that you’ll be hung over, you ask? That’s a very good question, and it’s not really so easily answered, it’s just one of those facts that is observed of being true in most cases. However, it is likely because of toxic chemicals called congeners in the alcohol. You see, when the alcohol is fermented, it produces these toxic byproducts which are filtered through your digestive system.

The difference is that lighter alcohols have much less of these toxic substances while darker ones derive their darker color from them, and therefore have them in a much higher concentration, which is thought to be the reason behind their higher likelihood of creating a hangover state in the body. This is definitely valuable information to get under your belt during this season, which is the biggest drinking season of the year.

Chastity Bono, now Chaz Bono, underwent a sex change operation after years of knowing what she truly was inside, which was a man. She says that it’s the best decision for her, and that she didn’t want to go through her whole life wondering what it would have been like to have all male equipment and live like a man truly, so she finally went ahead and had the gender reassignment surgery and the hormone therapy so that she could fully embody what it was to be a man. Her partner, a woman, agrees that it was the best decision, and has been supportive of Chaz’ operations and attempt to become what she feels she was always destined to be.

Chaz, formerly Chastity, was born a girl to celebrities Sonny and Cher, 40 years ago, and says that she always felt like a male inside and knew that she was not, at the very least, a heterosexual female. She came out of the closet and announced herself formally as a lesbian over ten years ago, and says she’d been toying with the idea of having a sex change operation for a while, and wanted to do it while she was still young enough to enjoy the full benefits of what it truly felt like to be a biological male.

She has been a GLBT activist and spokesperson for some time now, and now may also start to be a spokesperson for transgender men and women, at least that would make sense. When one undergoes sex reassignment surgery, they essentially are getting the male or female genitalia that they are biologically missing, and they also undergo some form of hormone therapy so that they can also develop other male or female characteristics, besides just the genitalia.

Women may develop more facial hair, for example, and deeper voices, while men who undergo surgery may undergo different changes, such as softer skin and less facial hair as well as higher pitched voices. It’s fascinating that we can actually control the gender we are by simply administering hormones.
