“Dumb Jock” No Longer a Valid Label?
If you were ever labeled a “dumb jock” in high school, or even in college, because of your athletic prowess, well, then students who ribbed you with that label may just be eating their words now. According to a new study, students that were athletically more fit and able to perform physical tasks with more ease, actually scored higher than average test scores when given.
They found that on average, for each less minute a student could complete of a certain physical task, it seemed to correlate to about a percentage point less in their test scoring, meaning that the less physically fit and able they were, the less they scored on these tests, which makes the leap to say that students who are more physically fit on average will at least be better test takers, if not even have a slightly higher IQ.
Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule for things like this, like that some of the smartest people in the room may not necessarily be physically fit, but this was a study that was based on averages. I can tell you one thing, I can certainly tell a difference in my IQ when I stop working out.
Physical fitness helps me to focus, and it actually makes me FEEL SMARTER, so for me there is no doubt that staying in shape helps me perform critical thinking and focus tasks as well.

Biweekly Sex Good for the Heart
We know that sexual activity benefits us in many ways, but when it comes to sex and our tickers, we kind of get mixed messages from the medical community on whether it’s kosher to have sex as we get older, or whether it might be too hard on the ol’ heart to have it when we get older. You hear so many stories about men having heart attacks while having sex, or not being “healthy enough” to have sexual intercourse on these Viagra and Cialis ads that caution you against taking their medicine and having intercourse.
Of course, they have to warn men that have pre existing heart conditions to not go on their medication so that these men do no suffer heart attacks from the increased blood flow and over excitement and stimulation of sex, but these types of messages have a sort of lasting effect on the male psyche, that having sex as you age may become a hazardous sport.
But research has shown that by and large that is not true, unless you do have some sort of pre existing heart condition that makes getting too excited dangerous to the function and rhythm of your heart. In fact, men who have normal functioning hearts may be up to two times more protected against heart attacks than men who do not have sex frequently.
If you think of it this way, sexual activity is sort of like a release, and it also is a little bit of physical activity that helps you to regulate your breath and condition your heart. If you are already an active person and you also have sex two times a week or more, well then, that is even better, because you get the benefits of the stress release and pleasure rush of sex, and you also have a healthy heart and lungs to begin with, which makes the sex all that much better and more stress busting.
Men who had sex at least twice a week were about 45% less likely to suffer heart related health conditions throughout their lives, and for men that is quite significant, since we men are the most vulnerable of the sexes to heart disease, although women sadly are quickly catching up with us on that note. We all know that sex is good for us, which is precisely the reason male enhancement has advanced so much in popularity.
But the physical aspect of having sex frequently isn’t the only likely reason that this bolsters your chances of reducing heart related conditions. Men who have sex more often with their partners are more likely to be in loving, supportive, mutually desirable relationships than men who have sex with their partners once a month or less, which also adds to their overall quality of life, and the contributing factors to heart disease are diminished in that way as well.

Men Evolving Faster than Women?
Wow, this could certainly be a controversial statement, and I certainly wouldn’t want to be standing in a room of staunch feminists if I were the scientist that was trying to make this claim, but some evidence of chromosomal and DNA research is showing that the Y chromosome (this is what actually makes a man a man), which is expressed in the males of the human species, is actually showing that it evolves faster than the female chromosome, which may allude to the fact that men are on track to evolve quicker than women will.
Of all the human chromosomes out there, the Y chromosome seems to be the one that is evolving the quickest, and it’s showing in monkeys, our closest relatives genetically speaking too, in fact that’s how scientists found out about this rapid evolution – from male chimpanzees, who are our closest relative when it comes to animal-human relations.
What does this mean exactly? Well, not too much on the surface, everything pretty much seems to be the same to us here at the surface of humanity, but below, there is much to study as it can have implication on genetic research from here going forward that can help treat and cure disease and other things.
The interesting part about the y chromosome is that several years back, science hypothesized that the Y chromosome would die out and that men would eventually become exinct, with women inheriting the world. Interesting….

Anti Aging For Men (cont.)
More on anti aging tips for men from the last post, because I really feel that taking care of yourself and essentially extending your biological age, and enjoying the fringe benefits of youth for a longer time than you would without doing these things, is not only key to your sexual performance and health, but more importantly, it’s got serious implications for your brain health and vitality, your longevity, and your self confidence, energy levels and appearance. Put those in any order of personal important to you, but they are all pretty big reasons to start living a healthier, more complete life now rather than waiting for it to come to you through some miracle, or pursuing something like HGH injections to help you live a fuller, longer and more productive life.
Let’s pick up where we left off. We were talking about the numerous benefits and health and wellness implication of eating a lower calorie diet. There really is something to this, so it’s something worth exploring. You don’t have to dramatically cut calories, or cut them so low you can barely subsist on the nutrition, you just have to cut them out where you know you don’t need them on things that are empty calories like soda, sugar, processed foods and refined carbs. Try reducing your calories and see how much extra energy you have in the long run .Your energy may suffer a little upfront during the initiation phase, but it will skyrocket once your body gets used to it.
Now, let’s talk about laughing and smiling. These are two really important factors for your health, especially your mental state and even your energy levels. When you smile and laugh, you release certain youth promoting hormones, and not only that, it feels good. The feel good chemicals that make you sort of buzz when you’re happy are released much more easily when you are exercising your smile and laugh muscles.
To help exercise your brain and keep it thinking outside the box, which helps us all to critically think and problem solve as we age, which helps to prevent things like degenerative memory and alzheimers disease, do things backwards. For example, maybe try doing things with your non dominant hand. If you’re right handed, try doing a few things left handed. It forces the brain to think differently, and increase blood flows to vital areas of the brain, which is essentially like “feeding” the brain. Great for brainpower and critical thinking and focus.
Have sex – a lot. This also increases blood flow and sex releases the buildup of harmful hormones and stress chemicals that can destroy healthy cells and create good conditions for disease to form. Having sex literally is a cleansing experience in that way.
Get your cardio. Cardio exercise, as well as muscle building exercises, are critical as you age. They help prevent muscle waste and also help to increase blood flow to all areas of the body.

Men : Stay Young for Longer
Anti aging and the quest for a longer time in the enjoyable stages of our youth, or at least enjoying the same qualities that we did in our youth, is an age old search that has been explored be the only race that actually cares about it – the human race. Think about it, we are the only mammals that are self aware and vain enough to want to extend our lives and want to extend the enjoyment of our lives for as long as we possibly can. And why not? Who wants to experience the downfalls of aging if they don’t have to?
Things like memory failing, skin aging, energy levels tapering off, sexual performance going in ebbs and flows, hair graying, and lack of quality sleep are just a few of the ways in which aging inflicts us. If you think about these attributes, and you remember back to when you were younger, you’ll realize that you rarely experienced them. You had boundless energy, your moods seemed to be more even tempered, and you seemed to be blissfully unaware of the world’s problems around you. Your skin was smooth, your muscles lithe and ready for action and almost never sore, and your body was a tightly wound machine ready to take on most any challenge.
Your hair was full of color, and you could have sex for hours it seemed, and you also seemed to get a lot more enjoyment out of it as well. What if you could do certain things, short of taking HGH enhancing supplements or injections for men, and change your lifestyle, to help keep your mind sharp, your energy levels up, and your appearance looking handsome and effortlessly youthful? Well, you can definitely make some minor adjustments to your lifestyle to help achieve a younger presence for a longer time, and get more enjoyment out of your life as well as feel better about yourself.
One is pretty obvious, this is to stay slim and with little body fat. Research has shown consistently that diets that consist of fewer calories actually aid people in keeping their minds sharp and their organs functioning as they should, for a longer period of time. Ultimately, many think that reduced calories diets aid heavily in longevity itself. I myself do love to eat, but I also notice how much better I look and feel when I am following a restricted calorie diet.
