GenF20 HGH Releaser

This is quite an interesting product that I’ve recently seen, so interesting that I posted a review of this HGH product, called GENF20, which is a natural stimulator to the body to produce more HGH, or Human Growth Hormone, which is the hormone of youth.  It basically stops producing once we hit our early twenties, and this is what accounts for our steady decline when we reach our mid twenties.

We start to have less energy naturally, our skin may start to sag and wrinkle (age), our hair begins to lose pigment (graying of the hair), we start to have a lower libido, we may not get as high quality of a sleep, and many many other things that aren’t so pleasant the majority of the time start to happen to our body and our mind as we age.

Oh, I forgot to mention that one too, our minds, memories and general sharpness tend to decline as we age, making it sometimes harder to focus and think critically and problem solve.  Well, as there are so many other natural and herbal products in development for self improvement and anti aging, or shall we say more graceful aging, there is a product called GenF20 HGH releaser which actually helps to stall the aging process by stimulating your own body’s resources to produce HGH once again, just like it did in the “good old days” of your youth.

Most people who take it report an interesting array of benefits, everything from sleeping more soundly and having crazy energy, to hair color and texture imrpovement and a noticeably more youthful skin tone and plumpness to the skin.  It’s intriguing to say the least that there are products out there that can help us beat Father Time, or at least keep him at bay a bit longer.

Vitamin E for Middle Aged Men?

It appears that the relatively cheap and easily accessible vitamin, vitamin E, may have some fairly significant health and preventive benefits for middle aged men who take it, especially middle aged men who also happen to smoke.

Vitamin E is a very good vitamin as we know, for overall health, and has been known to have some sort of heart protective abilities and is also known for being a good skin care vitamin for both men and women.

You do have to be careful with vitamin E though, as too much of it can be toxic to the system since it is not a vitamin that we “pee out” daily, rather it can be stored in the organs and become toxic if too much is taken.

The newest studies on the vitamin show that it may actually help prevent death from cancer and heart disease in the middle age demographic of men who also smoke.  The study was done with almost 30,000 men, so it’s nothing to laugh at, since the number of subjects is substantial and the study was done very credibly.

It shows that the men who had higher levels of vitamin E in their blood had a lower death rate if they had cancer or heart disease over a specified period of time during which the study was conducted.

The vitamin is also known as alpha tocopherol (yes, you’ve probably seen this in your multivitamin, that’s what I thought too), and it is known as a very potent antioxidant which is often added to multivitamin supplements for men

Antioxidants are now being hailed as excellent heart health protectors and overall life quality enhancers and longevity promoters.  Not only that, vitamin E also has an enhancing effect on the health and functionality of the blood vessels, helping to strengthen and tone them.

Overall, I’d say vitamin E is something you would want to make sure you have in your vitamin or health supplement, at any rate.

Men’s Health Issues

This is strictly my personal opinion, but I think the two major health issues that a man can improve almost immediately in his life are diet and exercise.  Diet and exercise are the leading factors that, when they are lacking or severely lacking in quality or quantity, can cause not only sexual issues, but serious heart issues and other related complications.

If we can reduce our fat and sodium intake, and also concentrate on just eating less generally, we can curb the lieklihood of developing diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure, immobility due to arthritis and muscle pain, and a slew of other common issues that affect men as they get older - ooh I forgot to mention a biggie in men’s health - prostate health.

There are great prostate health supplements available today, as well as multivitamins for men and other herbal and vitamin-packed supplements that men can take to help promote health and longevity, but what good are they if we are not getting any physical activity, and stuffing our faces with fattening, greasy, salty and sugar foods?

Some of the basics of men’s health are:

1.) Moderate exercise, including stretching and cardio at least 3-4 times a week is a must to remain mobile and in fighting shape.  Eliptical machines, treadmills, and other exercise equipment can be used to help your achieve your fitness goals. Not only that, exercise dramatically improves depression and anxiety in men and women.

2.)  Moderate your eating habits.  If you want a sugary or salty snack, search for sugar free or reduced sodium options that don’t inundate your body with too much sodium or sugar, and upset the delicate balance your body is meant to pursue.  Increased veggies and decreased meat is always an excellent way to promote prostate and heart health.

PSA Count Can Predict Cancer Death?

The PSA count is a measure taken by doctors from a man’s blood, to determine the levels of a certain protein that is made in the male body when the prostate gland is under attack - AKA prostate cancer.  This count is and has been used frequently, in the past as a predictor of prostate cancer and a screening test to make sure a guy does not have the fairly common male cancer, especially as he gets older, when prostate cancer risk is at its highest.

The PSA is a shortened version of the Prostate Specific antigen, and when the blood shows higher levels of this antigen, doctors know to probe further to see if prostate cancer is the culprit for the elevated levels of the blood protein.

This latest study in the field of prostate cancer, showed a statistical relationship between the likelihood of mortality in men with prostate cancer by what’s knows as the prostate velocity, or the rate at which the PSA count rises, and the men who lived had a lower “velocity” than the men that ended up dying from the disease.

Doctors usually suggest that men start to get PSA screenings when they are in their 40’s, which is when problems may start to happen with this tiny gland.  Difficulties in urination are one of the most common side effects that you may want to check out if you think you have an enlarged prostate.

There are supplements for prostate health which also may help to prolong the health and well being of the prostate gland in men, well into later ages when the prostate gland’s health can be compromised.  There are also dietary guidelines for prostate health and other lifestyle changes you can make to ensure you live with a healthy prostate, in our men’s health section.

Male Body Image

Body image and poor body perception is not something the solely affects the female sex any more. Now, more and more men are becoming “body conscious” and more health conscious just like women are to maintain a sleek, muscular look to their body.

Men are taking record amounts of men’s health supplements and reaping the benefits of better heart health, longer lives and more chiseled bodies because of this relativey new awareness sweeping the male community that yes, men with nice bodies do tend to get more attention from the ladies and they also tend to do better in other areas of their lives such as the professional and business arena. Things like HGH enhancing supplements are becoming popular to help prolong youthful vigor and looks as well.

Apparently, it’s not just weight and body appearance that today’s men are concerned about, according to some researchers it actually has more to do with things like excess body hair, sweat and odor, and hair loss on the top of the head that really gets men shaking in their shoes more than actual body weight and buffness.

They further found that the more TV men watched, especially things like music videos and “younger” tv where men tend to look a little too perfect, the worse they felt about the way they looked themselves. This correlates a lot with the way women view themselves and compare themselves to other women, it’s just a tad different focus with men.

These feelings of inadequacy and inferiority stemming from looks often can impact men in a sexually negative way, making them either withdraw from the whole mating scene, or to engage in agressive sexual behavior.

Men not only take the best multivitamins for men nowadays, but they are also overall more conscious about their looks, maintaining their hair, and staying younger looking longer, and have actually spawned a whole new area of cosmetics and men’s health and hygiene products, sometimes dubbed “metrosexual” products since they would have typically been deemed appropriate only for women, and were adapted for men.

Skin care products, shaving products, shampoos, and even hair dyes have been adapted to fill the growing trend of male health and physical awareness, and it’s only going to get more popular with time it appears.

Drink Green Tea & Live Longer?

That’s what research is suggesting, that drinking the antioxidant-filled green tea may actually help you to live longer (both men and women).  The lower death rate of green tea imbibers is looking like it is from the ability of green tea to protect heart health, or at least the ability to stave of death from the symptoms of heart disease.

The benefits of drinking green tea do benefit both men and women in the heart protection category, but the benefits seem to be a little higher for women who drink green tea.

Men who drink green tea every day have been estimated to cut their risk of heart disease by about 22%, which is fairly significant if you think about it.  The findings are not just your average “guesstimates” either, since the study has been carried on for more than ten years, with an average of about 40,000 participants, so not only was participation wide, but the time frame over which it was evaluated give significant merit to the findings that green tea helps protect the heart and prolong life when it is drank every day.

The reason that women may benefit a little more than men may relate to the fact that they have more estrogen circulating in their bodies than men do.  This can interact differently with the compounds in green tea, and also women are just genetically different from men, and may have a different “chemical reaction” with the green tea compounds.

Testosterone Levels and Semen Production

Testosterone is responsible for the primary physical and psychological traits that make men MEN, so a deficiency in testosterone production or it’s absorption in the man’s body can trigger a significant change in these traits, meaning they lose some of their male traits like muscle tone, sexual desire, sexual control and other key elements to a man’s health and happiness.

Men who experience the male equivalent of menopause, called andropause, are usually prone to gaining weight, varying degrees of depression and anxiety, bladder control and erectile dysfunctions, physical and mental fatigue and other unpleasant side effects of andropause.

It may be wise for any man over the age of 45 to get testosterone level checks, to make sure he’s in the clear from getting these unpleasant symptoms. If you are experiencing a temporary drop in testosterone levels, you may want to try a semen enhancing and testosterone improvement supplement.

These types of male sexual health and testosterone enhancing supplements are very rich in zinc, which is one of the key natural substances (it’s actually a mineral) used by the male reproductive system, and then there are other natural ingredients which are designed to help stimulate the production of testosterone without endangering the rest of the body or compromising other functions, as common prescription drugs are known to do.

Low Testosterone Levels?

Testosterone is the primary “I am man, hear me roar” hormone among the androgen (male hormone) family of hormones and by far the best known in this entire sector (who hasn’t heard of testosterone?  It’s practically a verb in it’s own right).

Androgens are responsible for the development of masculine characteristics in all vertebrates (aka humans, anything with a spine basically) by a process where it binds to the androgen receptors.  This all sounds foreign, I know, but trust me there is a point.

Androgens are the overseers of the activity of all male sex organs (including the penis and testosterone production) and the development of secondary sexual characteristics, like a man’s deep voice, male body and facial hair, broader shoulders and chest, a heavier bone structure than women, larger and more dense muscle mass and more coarse skin.

Testosterone, the kind of all androgens, is mostly secreted in the testes and then secondarily by the adrenal glands, which is something I did not previously know.

The functions of this powerful hormone are so very closely linked to the mental and sexual well-being of men, that a dip in the level of testosterone produced by the body is enough to bring about dramatic changes in any man.  This is where a testosterone enhancing supplement can work wonders for you.

What this type of supplement does is naturally boost your testosterone, and even your semen production, for improved sexual desire and a higher output of testosterone, naturally.  More on testosterone level issues next time…

Prohormones to Be Banned by FDA : Superdrol, PheraPlex, Halodrol Banned

A couple posts ago, I reported that the popular supplements used by athletes and body builders alike for stamina, quick muscle building and performance, were on the cusp of being banned.  Well, apparently that cusp is just about here, if not passed for the popular steroid-like supplements used by lots of men called Superdrol, PheraPlex, and Halodrol.

The supplement affectionately called “Andro” or Androstenedione was actually banned about 1 1/2 years ago, so I must have gotten my facts mixed up.  The others are soon to follow reportedly, and men who use these types of body building and performance enhancing, natural alternative to steroids are being encouraged to “stock up” before a full ban on all androstenedione products are completely banned and not allowed to be restocked by merchants selling health supplements.

Further reports are that methyl products and all remaining pro-hormone products will be soon classified as steroids and will be taken off the shelves fairly quickly.

For a men’s health supplement that I believe is a healthier alternative to these types of supplements, which can have detrimental side effects on your health and well being, I recommend this natural HGH enhancing supplement for men.

Andro Supplement Made Famous by Mark McGwire

Remember all the hubub about famous pitcher Mark McGwire being on steroids? Well, as it turned out, back in 2004, we found out that he was really on a natural supplement called andro which similarly mocks the effects of illegal steroids, only it couldn’t be touched by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration, in charge of drug approval, and banning harmful supplements and products), since it was labeled as a “dietary supplement”.Well, following suit with the very public banning of ephedra, also a “natural” supplement, the FDA called for a critical review of this andro supplement, calling into question it’s safety and integrity.Although andro products were not marketed as steroids, the FDA said their effects were similar enough to steroids that they had jurisdiction to decide whether they could continue to be sold.

The FDA commissioner Mark McClellan, back in 2004, was quoted as saying “while andro products may seem to have short-term benefits, the science shows that these same properties create real and significant health risks,”

“Anyone who takes these products in sufficient quantities to build muscle or improve performance is putting himself or herself at risk for serious long-term and potentially irreversible health consequences.”

The andro supplements and products were actually made from a naturally occurring hormone called androstenedione, which is manufactured by one’s body at the same time as testosterone (male dominant hormone) and estrogen (female dominant hormone).

The benefits that andro users reaped from using these bodybuilding supplements was a faster acquisition of muscle from working out, more endurance and an overall increased level of performance. However, along with these benefits came the same downside as real steroids, including shrinking testes, growth of male breasts, and other unsavory side effects commonly seen by roid heads.

Apparently, the makers of andro had proven something, because when doing a google search for the supplement, there is nothing about it being illegal, and it is being sold still. If you’re looking for something to help you retain more muscle and feel younger though, I recommend a good HGH supplement.
