“Hung” a Great Show About a Guy with a Huge Penis

Thumbs WAY Up for "Hung"

Hey guys, Jill here, to discuss why I think that the new HBO show “Hung” – ok it’s not brand new any more, but I just started watching it on HBO on demand, and I think it’s a great show! I was skeptical at first, thinking it was just going to be HBO’s excuse for showing people having sex a lot of TV, because after all sex sells, and although it does show people having sex a lot, namely the main character, Ray Drecker played by Thomas Jane, there’s a lot more to this show than just penis, erections, and vagina and boobs.

Although, I must admit, even though I’m a women, I’m still a voyeur at heart, and I have to say that I love watching good looking people on film having sex and doing various other sexual deeds – it’s fun, and yes, it’s sort of a turn on if you must know – by the way guys, there are a LOT of women out there who enjoy watching porn and people having sex onscreen too, it’s not just guys as everyone seems to think sometimes.

And, of course, Thomas Jane is fun to look at and he attracts women like crazy, so that part pleases me as a woman greatly!  But the story is a really good one too, honestly, it’s not all about the flesh, albeit good looking flesh.  It’s about a down and out divorced father of two who has a modest paying job as a teacher and coach at a local high school, Ray Drecker. He really hits the skids when his only real possession, his house, burns down and he finds out he has no insurance to pay for the damage.

He attends a millionaire maker type of work shop, where he runs into an old one night stand named Tanya. Tanya’s not much to look at, but she’s got a big heart and they end up in the sack again together (like I said, there’s lots of sex in this show).  Through a series of consequence, they end up deciding to use Ray’s biggest asset – his abnormally large penis, as a business starter. Tanya becomes his “pimp” and they embark on a business venture, and misadventure as you see through several of the mishaps that happen in their first forays into paid sex.

You really feel for the guy though, that’s what makes this show good. Somehow Ray Drecker really resonates with me, because he’s just a regular guy, faced with possible cutbacks at his high school,  and barely making ends meet to begin with, who wants to make something of himself.  His ex wife is played by Anne Heche, and she’s really awesome in this role too, if not a bit weird looking because it looks like she really may have had too much Botox (this is part of the story line too, she’s married to a high end dermatologist, who she left Ray for).

Great show, I recommend you check it out!
