Losing Virginity : Timing Everything?
This is an interesting fact that I would not have thought to hold true, well on one hand the first one I would have though to hold true, but the second one seems almost a contradiction to common sense. The first is that men and women who lose their viriginity too early say before they even reach their teens or in their very early teens, are more at risk for STD’s and even sexual dysfunction later in their sexual lives.
That one makes sense to me, since many times as early teens and before we’re teens we’re essentially still kids and don’t even know what we want in life, let alone how we want to be touched in the sack. Having sex too early may lead to psychologically imposed sexual dysfunction in men and women, and they may be more prone to psychological problems in bed as far as trusting their sexual partners, knowing what pleases them, how they want to be treated, etc. when it comes to sex.
Plus, they may choose to have too many partners or hop in the sack with people just for the sake of sex, not even having any kind of emotional connection to the partner at all.
However, on the flip side, researchers found that men who had their first sexual encounter (intercourse to be specific) at the ages of 21-23 years old tended to have more sexual dysfunction later on in their sexual lives.
Perhaps it is because they waited too long because of insecurities about their sexuality or because they felt insecure about penis size (see our penis enlargement exercises page), or their sexual capabilities to please or attract a woman, but this often times will lead to some sort of sexual dysfunction later in life, whether it be premature ejaculation or even the inability to get an erection in the first place, which is considered impotence.
Many men who feel insecure about these things are unfortunately not likely to seek professional help as well, or as we just discussed a few posts ago, they are not likely to return to a professional if the first round of treatment did not work in their particular case.
