Testosterone May Help Women Regain Sex Drive
Female sexual enhancement is just now peeking it’s head out of the clouds that it had hidden behind for so long as more and more women are demanding the same attention at female sexuality problems, both medical and psychological, as men receive for erectile dysfunction of various sort, including impotence and premature ejaculation among others.
Well, doctors and scientists have come up with something that was really known already in the medical community, it’s just that now it’s been put into practice - into a patch to be more specific, for women with waning libidos. It’s a testosterone patch that is supposed to help women regain their pysiological drive and desire to have sex.
It has been known that testosterone drives sexual cravings in both men and women, it’s just that men have an abundance of the hormone while women have smaller amounts of the hormone, thus attributing to their feminine characteristics and many times, less of a sex drive naturally than men tend to have. Here’s how the testosterone patch for female sexual enhancement works.
It was found through placebo experiments that women who were pre menopausal and used the patch had significant spikes in their desire to have sexual intercourse, as well as an increased frequency of sex that they felt was satisfying and memorable, whereas before they may find it hard to sexually peek, and we all know that’s the most fun part about sex, whether you’re a man or a woman.
Apparently the women who experienced the increase in sexual activity averaged about 4 times the sex they had before they started on the patch, and most of them decided to continue on with the female sexual treatments since they did experience good results. No word about side effects, which I think might be fairly unsavory, since excess testosterone in women can product effects like hair growth in unwanted places and other hormone imbalances similar to those experienced by menopausal women, since testosterone takes a more dominant place over estrogen during this period and that is what sometimes accounts for the side effects that aren’t so fun. In a way, it doesn’t make sense that this works so well for women, but it does!
