Feel Fat? How This Stunts Your Sex Life
Do you know how many people say that they just don’t feel “in the mood” because they feel fat or bloated? And no, I’m not just talking about the female sex, but also the male sex. Men, how many times have you had a huge meal, and felt all big and bloated, and almost on the verge of sick, and this has dampened your desire to have sexual intercourse?
Of course, for men, it’s probably not as profound as for women, since women are notoriously more self conscious about their bodies during sex and also are more prone to connecting sexual emotions with how they feel, but it does happen for us men too sometimes, right?
Well, maybe I’m speaking too soon, or from too personal of a perspective, but I know that feeling like I ate too much or just in general, feeling out of shape and “fat” really does dampen my whole sexual feeling, that I’m a sexual being who is attractive and capable of having great sex. Sound crazy? Well, maybe not.
Surveys have found that men are increasingly body-aware when it comes to sex and with the new metrosexual trend and the acceptability of a guy who cares about his looks and is self conscious about his looks, it seems this has been a double edge sword for dudes, making them more self conscious about these things.
Not only that, when you eat too much, it actually can have a chemical reaction which dampens sexual response and also dampens the actual mood, so there really is something to it!
