The cliche is that women are more of an emotional and verbal creature when it comes to sex and being turned on sexually by certain things, while men are just mostly visual in nature, meaning they are excited by images they see.
Newer studies on how women respond sexually to images is actually showing that women may be just as “visual” when it comes to sexuality and being turned on, as men are.
The new study showed women images that were sexually erotic in nature, and measured their brain acitvity during the visuals, showing that their brain activity sharply increased, effectively showing that they were “turned on” by the images, and there was also certain hormonal activity occurring.
This response in women actually surprised researchers, who said they would typically expect (based on previous knowledge of how men and women work on a sexual level) only see that strong of a response to sexual images from men, not women.
This new study may effectively kill the previously held notion that only men were turned on by images like this, not women, and maybe this will open the doors to men being able to attract their women to watching some fun extracurricular DVD’s with them - this always adds spice to any relationship, and is a great way for a couple to reignite the flames of passion again in the bedroom.

I read an interesting piece the other day about how the idea of “male menopause” treatments may be successful to varying degrees, largely due to a placebo effect. The placebo effect just means that because you think something should or will happen, you actually create the reality that it is happening. In other words, it’s psychosomatic - created by your own body by your own will.
It talked about how the male menopause is really just a gradual drop in the male hormones called androgens in the man’s body - actually more specifically, the decline and almost total absence sometimes of the male hormone testosterone.
Doctors are now recommending that just like men get PSA tests, they may also want to be tested for testosterone levels to prevent unpleasant symtpoms of andropause, or male menopause, and to get the hormone drop back into balance.
Male menopause, or androgen deficiency - or andropause, whatever you want to call it usually happens in men starting in about their forties, and can happen up into the fifties as well. Just like female menopause, the timing depends on the individual. Men are asking their doctors more and more about testosterone therapies for this phenomena as they become more aware that there is a sort of male equivalent to menopause and would like to prevent or alleviate it before the symptoms get bad.
Testosterone supplementation comes in forms of patches, gels, or injections. The treatments are suspected to be placebo because there is no real proof that they acually work, unless you count the proof that the patients swear they are helping them.
The only other problem with testosterone supplementation is that we don’t really know about the long term effects of using such a therapy, since it hasn’t been around for too long, so this may be a reason in itself to try to seek natural options.

Remember the news story about several natural male sexual enhancement products who claimed to be herbal and all natural, were issued warnings by the FDA? The reason these warnings were issued is because ingredients that are found in Viagra, and very similar, non-natural ingredients were found in about six of these so called all natural men’s health supplements.
This could have caused serious potential health issues, since the active ingredient in Viagra, called sildenafil, can cause heart problems associated with high blood pressure, especially if someone does not know they are taking something that can affect them this way.
An ingredient very similar in action to sildenafil, called acetildenafil, was in the Nasutra men’s product, and in response to pressure from the FDA, the company who sells Nasutra, once a fairly popular male enhancement supplement, has pulled their family of sexual products from the shelves amid public health and safety concerns.
Nasutra is a product you may have not only heard about online, but they also advertised heavily on radio spots (at least where I live, I remember hearing several tantalizing commercials for the effectiveness of the product). It’s no wonder it worked well - it contained similar ingredients that are in the product Viagra, allegedly. They are just one of six though.
Other reports of products being pulled voluntarily by their makers will probably be surfacing soon also, as I’m sure the ever powerful FDA has issued fairly threatening warnings to them as well, citing possibly serious men’s health issues, and I’m sure the potential for litigation for containing misleading ingredients. Time will tell!

What about your woman? Have you ever heard your lady say that she just has a hard time experiencing an orgasm, or that she has a low libido (sex drive)? Lots of women have these issues, and stress just adds to the formula for female sexual desire depletion.
Women are also just naturally predisposed to having low libido and difficulty achieving orgasm. What can you do for her? Or if you’re reading this and you’re a woman, what type of female sexual enhancement product will help with all of the above common female sexual issues, without having to pop pills?
There are female aphrodisiacs that help with the problems we have listed above. This one in particular is an oil that is rubbed directly onto a woman’s genital area, immediately creating a warm and sensual feeling with special ingredients that topically stimulate a women and give her more intense and powerful orgasms, as well as make her look forward to having sex and sexual contact more often since the pleasure is so much more intense, which also enhances the libido aspect of a woman’s sex drive.
This product is called Provestra female sexual enhancement formula and it helps immensely with these female sexual complaints by enhancing the sexual experience . Heck, some women might even like to use the stuff by themselves, that’s how good it feels!

We’ve discussed before here how penile enlargement surgery, which is meant to actually lengthen or widen the male penis, has quite a long ways to go in the realm of safety issues and even problems with penis functioning and ejaculation or orgasming after the surgery.
There is another surgery that can also be performed, which is part of the penile enlargement family, which actually says it can widen the penis (the girth of the penis gets bigger). It’s basically called penile widening surgery, and rather than focusing on the length of the penis, it focuses on the penile girth rather than the length, for men who might be content with the length of their penis but want to have more width.
What the penile widening surgery does is it usually takes a fat transfer of the men’s body (they take fat from other areas of the body) and use it to “fill in” the penis around the sides and the circumference of the penis to make the penis fatter. I’ve seen pictures of penis widening surgery, and it actually makes the penis look kind of strange, like it’s “full” of something and is hanging over the head of the penis.
The website I read about this surgery on said that the cost runs about $4,700 and when done in conjunction with the penis enlargement surgery, it runs about $8,700 to $9,000 and comes with a penis stretching device as well. This penis stretcher is similar to the natural penis enlargement system called Size Genetics, who offers a comprehensive penile enlargement system with supplements and a penis extender.
It’s just a guess, but I would assume the risks to the fat transfer penile girth expanding surgery might be that the fat cells have a chance of migrating or disappearing, as many other surgeries which require fat transfers do. Also, there may be issues with men performing sexually, but this is a risk with any penis enlargement surgery, since you are basically interfering with the “plumbing”.
