Women Sexually Visual Too?

The cliche is that women are more of an emotional and verbal creature when it comes to sex and being turned on sexually by certain things, while men are just mostly visual in nature, meaning they are excited by images they see.

Newer studies on how women respond sexually to images is actually showing that women may be just as “visual” when it comes to sexuality and being turned on, as men are.

The new study showed women images that were sexually erotic in nature, and measured their brain acitvity during the visuals, showing that their brain activity sharply increased, effectively showing that they were “turned on” by the images, and there was also certain hormonal activity occurring.

This response in women actually surprised researchers, who said they would typically expect (based on previous knowledge of how men and women work on a sexual level) only see that strong of a response to sexual images from men, not women.

This new study may effectively kill the previously held notion that only men were turned on by images like this, not women, and maybe this will open the doors to men being able to attract their women to watching some fun extracurricular DVD’s with them - this always adds spice to any relationship, and is a great way for a couple to reignite the flames of passion again in the bedroom.
