Defective Penile Implant Guy Might Not Get Money

Remember the poor guy who was awarded $400,000 for having a ten year erection after a faulty penile implant he got ten years ago left him with a permanent erection?  Well, apparently some judge reversed the judgment awarding the man the sum of money for mental and physical damages, and this poor man may not even get his money, which he more than deserves for this outrage.

The man has not been able to position his penis in the downward position ever since the penile enlargement operation, and now the lawyers for the defendants are arguing for a dismissal since the manufacterer of the penile implant is now out of business, the insurance cannot be held liable for damages either.

The company has still said there is nothing wrong with the implant.  Um, I’m sure a ten year erection is not all in this guys head, ok?  He was orginally awarded a sum of about $750k back in 2004, but a judge said that amount was excessive and reduced it to a total of $400k ( I believe that’s after taxes, so about one million total payout by the responsible party).

I think this is pretty pathetic.  A woman gets awarded a million dollars for scalding her crotch with McDonald’s coffee, but a man who wanted to increase the size of his penis, now with a permanent erection that’s both embarrassing and debilitating can’t even be compensated? Crazy!
