Humor : Off Topic : Pink Taco Restaurant Offends Scottsdale Residents
In the “news” recently, well if you call my morning commute to work listening experience “the news”, it’s a news topic. Residents of Scottsdale Arizona are mad and maybe a little embarrassed about a new Mexican Restaurant in town called the Pink Taco.
For those of you that don’t know what a “pink taco” is in the minds of millions of gutter minds like myself, it’s a euphamism for the most private part of the female anatomy.
The mayor of Scottsdale called and complained, saying she’d like the owner to change the name of the restaurant because it personally offended her, but the owner staunchly stood by his clever name and refused. I’m not sure what the big fuss is though, apparently there were only a total of 4 complaints so far.
This makes me wonder, does everyone really get the name? I have a hunch that a lot of people who choose to dine there won’t get the inside joke. Oh yeah, and there is a “pink taco” on the menu. Hopefully it’s just a dyed taco shell..
