Monogamy Can Be Hot? Women Think So More than Men

A recent survey carried out indicated that women were more likely than men to still be sexually satisfied in a monogomous, long term relationship than men.

Most men reported they did not feel as sexually desired or appreciated after a period of time together with their partner, as well as were disappointed that other “fringe benefits” such as frequency of sex, longevity of lovemaking sessions and frequency (if any) oral sex dropped off significantly after one to two years with their partner.

Men and women both reported a substantial drop in feelings of passion after two years together, but that is to be expected. Further, the men and women that were satisfied overall with their partners and their relationship were more sexually satisfied as well.

Couples who were more caring about their sex life, and reported being more open to experimentation and trying new things reported the highest satsifaction levels in their relationship also. Communication is key - just let your lover know what you want, and you should both be satisfied with your sex life.
