Men and Sex - What Does it Mean to You?

The common theory, and often misconception, is that men are just all horny, one-track minded creatures only out looking for their next sexual experience, and indiscriminately hooking up with whoever is available.

The fact is, sex does mean a lot to most men, and men are biologically more driven to want to have sex, and at a higher frequency, than women.

This often creates problems in relationships, since women think their men are supposed to always want sex, and when the sex in the relationship dies down (which it almost inevitably does, the women thinks her partner doesn’t find her attractive, or doesn’t want her sexually any more.

I am speaking from experience. It baffles me now, that my partner of almost four years has a hard time mustering up the energy for some good old fashioned hour long sex sessions, the kind we used to have when we first started dating.

Honestly, with how busy the two of us are with our jobs and our hobbies and outside acitivites, I also find it very hard to “get in the mood” and forget about all my troubles, what I’m making for dinner, and what needs to be cleaned in the house.

People: make time for sex! It’s a very important release everyone needs for tension and stress. Not to mention, we are all meant to be sexual creatures. When we don’t get enough affection and sex, this makes our relationship suffer since it seems as though the mutual interest in one another has faded.

It can be frustrating at times, but that fact is you must make the time and you must make sex a priority, or your relationship will suffer.
